Four doors below. One of them is open. The other three stay shut until something is actually finished, which is the only honest way to run an index.
On the shut doors
Five ideas were killed before Legible was built: AI-visibility measurement, virtual staging, AI photo editing, agentic-commerce tooling and marketplace apps. Each died on evidence — a competitor already shipping it, a price that had collapsed, or a market that did not exist yet.
The three shut doors are not placeholders for things already decided. They are shut because nothing has earned them yet.
